All the Stories are True
Once upon a time, there was a man named Severus Snape who didn’t know he’d done everything right.

Some six months after the Battle of Hogwarts, Hermione Granger receives a message from Minerva McGonagall, asking her to meet the Headmistress at St Mungo’s to discuss a matter concerning Severus Snape.
The night before the battle the castle itself, sensing danger to its Headmaster, had sent House Elves to the Shrieking Shack to assist the dying man. It was a near thing. Now, although recovering physically, Snape remains comatose. St Mungo’s has called in two experts in Occlumency and Legilimency, who theorize that his coma is a defense mechanism, initiated in self-protection. But when they venture inside his mind to attempt to wake him, they are baffled to find themselves in a small stone room containing nothing but a spinning wheel.
Professor McGonagall, remembering Severus Snape’s largely Muggle upbringing, hopes that Muggle-born Hermione can discover some clue that will help them solve the puzzle.
